Julia Rose Senior Portraits – First Look
Here is a first look at the portraits of a special person. Each high school student comes to a point in which graduation is coming, a point from which they see risk and reward, fear and adventure, and many many new questions they had never thought to ask before. This step into adulthood is indeed to be celebrated for all the wonderful things it is!
Added Some New Images To Flickr
Rachel Maternity Images
When a woman becomes a mother, she does so not in part, but in whole. Her relationships, abilities, emotions, tastes, desires, even everything about her, changes, at least temporarily. We often fear change, because we do not know what it may bring, yet women through the ages boldly overcome this fear, and give life to the next generation. Maternity pictures celebrate this boldness, this selfless passion to give all for a little life. Congratulations Rachel and Brian! May God bless you in this journey.
I am returning…
It has been quite a while since I have posted here, so, I am now returning to more a more regular basis of updates. So much has happened between now and the last post; to summarize, my family is now migratory (like a coconut)! I am now travel nursing, and am on asignment in Colorado. Pictures to follow!

Becoming a Better Photographer! Setting Goals…
Here is a link to an article I found extremely helpful. Sometimes, to become better, we must seek outside help and advice… In this case, learning to work toward goals and objectives more efficiently is a need I have. It is a need I am certain many others have as well.
Enjoy and Learn!
Better Photography: Motivation?
We do not receive motivation, then do; we do, and receive motivation from the doing. – Flavius Alberticus
Better photography often comes from subtle sources like awakeing early in the morning. Sometimes, our obstacle to improvement is not editing and processing our images in a diligent manner. Whatever the obstacle may be, if we look to motivation for success, we will ever fail.
Instead, we must force ourselves to do what we do not want to do. In so doing, we will receive the power to do the things we want to do, but find no motivation to perform.
The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
Make your body obey! Set the alarm, set the limits, force yourself to labour. Then, you will find motivation.
